Does this mean gold prices will increase?

A Chinese government agency has revoked the license Blizzard needs to operate World of Warcraft.

Hopefully, four million Chinese won't die from Warcraft withdrawals.

Zelda Mashups

Here is another video game related album. It's a Zelda music / Rap song mashup album.

Since Austin mentioned chiptune, I figured I should share a few sites I go to for chiptune music. My favorite is 8bitpeoples. Pretty much every EP on there is solid and it's all free! A few of my favorite artists are: Nullsleep, Anamanaguchi, IAYD (who is from Texas!), and The Depreciation Guild.

Another site I visit from time to time is 8bitcollective. It's more user run with single songs instead of EPs. You can find some interesting remixes, as well as free songs people create. Recently I discovered this Journey cover: Don't Stop Believin' by Kkrusty.

Also random chiptune videos on YouTube can be really cool. This is a favorite of mine.

Oh also here is a Weezer chiptune album. http://www.ptesquad.com/more/pte018.html

Enjoy,

chiptune.com

So, chiptune.com is a pretty wicked website. It has all the cool chiptune music you could ask for and the site design is something to be envied. Talk about throwback.

So I'm riding the bus to school and I look out the window to this:

This was drawn in the window of the Kerbey Lane on Guadalupe. Here's another picture.

Future News Topic

GameDaily

It seems more and more games are switching to a matchmaking multiplayer systems. Modern Warfare 2 is doing the same and getting rid of dedicated servers. There is a petition within the link if you are against the idea of eradicating dedicated servers. I know I am.

Austin

To add on to what Austin said, I'm against it as well. I'm all for a matchmaking system option. But making a game matchmaking only is going destroy communities based on people who play in the same public dedicated servers all the time. I know I only play in a handful of dedicated Team Fortress 2 severs. It's not because everyone is on par with my level. It is because I find the people who frequent that server entertaining and have a lot of fun going back time and time again. A matchmaking system would eliminate this type of community.
